Large organizations moving to electric fleets require consistent installation standards across multiple locations. ENS was selected to deploy EV charging stations across numerous facilities nationwide as part of a multi-site fleet electrification program.

EV Charging Stations Installs

Project Scope

Over a two-year period, ENS installed commercial EV charging stations at multiple operational facilities across Canada. The charging systems were designed to provide reliable daily charging for fleet vehicles and service operations.

The scope included:

  • Site surveys and electrical capacity assessments

  • Installation of Level 2 charging stations

  • Electrical service upgrades

  • Coordination with local utilities and inspectors

  • Commissioning and operational testing

ENS was subsequently awarded additional locations based on performance and project execution.

Engineering Coordination and Redesign

During pre-construction verification, ENS identified discrepancies between construction drawings and actual site conditions. Some electrical services had been modified or dedicated to critical equipment, requiring redesign of the installation approach.

ENS responded by:

  • Conducting detailed field assessments

  • Coordinating revised electrical designs

  • Reallocating ordered materials to future sites

  • Maintaining inventory tracking across the national program

This minimized waste, prevented delays, and kept the electrification rollout moving forward.

Results

Program Achievements

  • Nationwide EV charging deployment

  • Standardized installation approach across facilities

  • Reduced material waste and procurement costs

  • Improved fleet charging reliability

This project showcases ENS’s capability to manage large-scale commercial EV charging installations across Canada, supporting corporate fleet electrification initiatives with consistent execution and technical accuracy.
