Organizations transitioning to electric vehicle fleets require scalable and future-ready charging infrastructure. ENS was retained as the prime contractor to design and install fleet EV charging stations at a large institutional campus.

Project Scope

The installation included full electrical infrastructure to support dual-port commercial charging stations for fleet vehicles. The system required:

  • Connection to the building’s main electrical distribution

  • Installation of a dedicated transformer

  • A centrally located outdoor electrical distribution panel

  • Infrastructure to support fleet expansion

The project was completed on schedule and successfully commissioned following engineering inspection.

Value-Added Engineering

To future-proof the site, ENS installed an expandable cable trench system that significantly reduced excavation requirements and allows additional chargers to be added without major construction disruption.

ENS also procured charging equipment directly from manufacturers, reducing overall project costs and improving delivery timelines.

Results

Key Benefits

  • On-time project completion

  • Expandable EV charging infrastructure

  • Reduced civil construction costs

  • Lower equipment procurement expenses

This installation highlights ENS’s ability to deliver fleet EV charging solutions for institutional and commercial properties, providing scalable infrastructure that supports long-term electrification goals.
