Job Posting: Account Manager

The Account Manager, under the direction of Program Manager is responsible for the delivery of professional, quality customer service through the effective use of organizational and managerial skills, product knowledge, and administration and operations procedures. He/she is the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering corporate projects on time, within budget, and in accordance to specifications. To achieve these important goals, the Account Manager will define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members.

Job Duties
• Handle day to day client relations
• Ensure that the delivery of client services presents an exceptional customer service experience
• Manage the entire lifecycle of the company’s project portfolio, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities
• Organize project teams into suitable workgroups and guide the teams throughout their efforts to produce deliverables according to specifications
• Manage the successful completion of large scale lighting retrofit projects and programs
• Ensure that staff acquire and maintain a strong knowledge of lighting-specific industry standards and extensive product knowledge
• Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and associate work
• Create contingency plans to mitigate risk
• Implement tactical service and best practice processes and procedures
• Conduct and develop reviews in order to effectively manage account lifecycles
• Consolidate information regarding multiple project and proposal documents as related to assigned portfolio
• Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers
• Manage multiple project team members
• Maintain project adherence to client milestone and deadlines
• Conduct project post-mortems in order to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations based on findings
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma preferred
• Excellent oral and written English communications skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to write clear and concise value proposition statements
• Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
• Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management
• High level of familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with construction drawings standards and practices is an asset
• Ability to build client relationships for further portfolio growth
